There is an inverse relationship between the leasing business which fall in Midtown and Midtown South and leasing activity goes up in Brooklyn. This is especially seen in the office market in Manhattan. During a quarter, sales declined by 32% in Midtown, 37% in the Midtown South, and increased 15% in Brooklyn. Beyond these major differences, it’s mostly a catch prices.
