The construction of the Barry Diller-funded park can begin

Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg won: Pier55 construction on an area of 2.7 acres can resume. This follows numerous legal proceedings to stop this construction. We can discuss the reasons that led to these proceedings, especially on the environmental aspects, but we must recognize that the project, at least on paper, promises to be beautiful, as shown in the photograph below.
